California’s political circus just pulled another stunt—and no one should be surprised. A big gubernatorial debate got canceled this week after some left-wing activists lost their minds over who was invited. Apparently, every candidate slated for the stage was white, and suddenly the outrage machine kicked into overdrive because four candidates of color didn’t make the cut. Forget the issues, forget the policies—California’s establishment wants everyone to focus on skin color. That’s liberal politics today, in a nutshell.
This kind of drama is exactly why real Californians are fed up with their so-called leaders. The folks in charge would rather play woke games than have an honest discussion. Instead of giving voters a real debate, they pulled the plug to avoid being called racist. This is the same crowd that claims to support diversity and inclusion. But when push comes to shove, all their talk about fairness turns out to be smoke and mirrors. Hypocrisy, plain and simple.
Why was the lineup like this in the first place? Maybe the debate organizers thought they could pick and choose candidates based on their own secret rules and donor-approved agendas. California Democrats love to pretend they care about minorities and the underdog. But when the spotlight’s on, it’s always the same insiders calling the shots, making sure their chosen elites stay on top. Meanwhile, real voices—especially the ones who dare to challenge the globalist, anti-American status quo—get shut down or ignored.
Let’s be honest: the only color California liberals really care about is green—the color of their donors’ money and the cash bags handed out by their rich Hollywood friends. Everything else is a distraction they use any time they get caught messing up. First they pick a debate panel with only white candidates. Then, instead of fixing the lineup or letting everyone join, they scrap the whole thing and play the blame game. Voters lose, again.
This farce proves one thing—when liberals run the show, nothing gets done except virtue signaling and backroom deals. California deserves leaders who care more about fixing problems than about optics or ticking boxes. Maybe it’s finally time to ask: How much longer are conservatives going to let the left’s radical hypocrisy go unchecked?
