California liberals have spent years bragging about their “progressive” leadership. But time and time again, Democrat policies blow up in their faces and hurt ordinary Americans. Just look at the latest bombshell: House Republicans are diving deep into a massive fraud scandal under Governor Gavin Newsom’s watch. The state’s hospice care system, meant for the most vulnerable, is now being exposed as a playground for corruption and abuse.
Big promises from the left always come with big consequences. Instead of protecting patients, California’s out-of-touch elites have allowed their precious bureaucracy to spiral out of control. The same Democrats who lecture the nation about “compassion” have let hospice care turn into a cash cow for fraudsters. Where were Newsom and his army of bureaucrats? Too busy virtue signaling to their fellow globalists instead of doing their jobs.
While Newsom’s team was busy passing woke regulations and banning plastic straws, actual criminals wormed their way through the system, exploiting sick and dying people for profit. California hospitals and hospice centers, once entrusted with delivering comfort and dignity, have now become symbols of government failure, all under the ruling class’s nose.
Republicans in Congress have had enough. They’re pushing past the media smokescreen and demanding real answers. Maybe it takes hardworking conservatives from across the country to finally hold California’s liberal elite accountable. After all, if Newsom can’t even keep basic healthcare honest, what future does he imagine leading the entire nation? If this is the Democratic model, America is right to be very afraid.
So the next time Democrats rant about their so-called compassion and cutting-edge policies, just tell them: We see right through you. If this is what “progress” looks like, no thanks. Maybe it’s time to put America—and our vulnerable citizens—first for a change.
