Over 400 citizens, handcuffed for what—posting opinions? Sharing facts? Daring to think differently? In Iran, the state calls that a crime against “national security.”
This is life under real tyranny. While the Biden administration wastes time “dialoguing” with despots, innocent lives hang in the balance. Liberals cry about “misinformation” here at home, but eagerly give lectures on tolerance and free speech when the cameras are rolling. Where are their outrage marches now? The left loves to complain about “systemic oppression” in the U.S., yet turns a blind eye to true oppression in hostile countries like Iran.
Let’s not kid ourselves. Iran doesn’t care about dissent; it cares about crushing anyone who challenges its power. Modern technology should be a force for freedom. But under this backward regime, sending a tweet or making a post can lead to a prison cell. Meanwhile, progressive elites in America try to silence people online through censorship and deplatforming. The globalist crowd lecturing us about “democracy” can’t hide the truth—real threats to liberty come from the very regimes they court and flatter.
