It doesn’t get more ridiculous than limousine liberals flying first-class to socialist dictatorships and calling it “humanitarian aid.” That’s just what Code Pink’s Medea Benjamin and Jodie Evans did, all while Cubans scrape by in the dark, hungry and desperate. These so-called activists didn’t rough it in the crumbling neighborhoods—no, they relaxed in five-star hotels, living it up while normal Cubans ration medicine and scavenge for food.
The elites of the radical left want us to believe they’re champions of the oppressed. But instead, they prop up one of the most brutal regimes on earth. Instead of siding with the suffering people of Cuba, they give the government a shiny propaganda victory. It’s the ultimate double standard—preach revolution, but party like a billionaire on vacation.
The hypocrisy is sickening. These far-left activists bash America every chance they get, then cozy up to communist thugs who jail dissidents and silence free speech. They turn a blind eye to Cuba’s shortages and blackouts, never missing a meal themselves. All the while, they peddle lies about “solidarity,” just to make themselves feel good.
Let’s be clear: this isn’t about helping anyone. It’s about sticking it to America and feeling virtuous among the suffering. If these globalist busybodies really cared, they’d be fighting for freedom instead of taking Instagram pics at the beach while Cubans line up for stale bread.
How much longer are Americans supposed to put up with these frauds? The left cheers for oppressors abroad while sneering at our own country. Maybe those sipping mojitos in Havana should stay there—and leave real freedom to people who actually understand what it means.
