Media silent as quadruple amputee cornhole champ accused of murder exposes liberal double standard

A shocking story is rocking Maryland, where a quadruple amputee and so-called “pro cornhole player” allegedly shot and killed his passenger during a drive. Dayton James Webber, just 27 years old, is now sitting in jail in Charles County. What’s appalling is not just the crime itself, but how quick liberals are to spin these stories and ignore real questions about violence and personal responsibility.

The left loves to champion their version of “inclusion,” pushing feel-good headlines about triumph over adversity. But when a disabled athlete commits a heinous act, suddenly, the headlines get softer and excuses start flying. Where are the social media activists screaming about gun violence now? Or do they only care when it’s politically convenient and fits their anti-Second Amendment narrative?

Webber’s case proves something conservatives have been warning about for years. No matter the circumstances or so-called “inspiring story,” evil isn’t picky. Banning guns won’t magically stop violent crime, as proven again and again. Criminal intent doesn’t care about laws—criminals will always find ways to do harm, whether in Chicago, Baltimore, or now, Charles County.

Democrats want to distract you with identity politics and sob stories. They want you to focus on race, gender, or disability—anything but personal accountability. Guess what? Being a pro cornhole player or overcoming huge physical challenges doesn’t mean you escape the law. American justice demands we hold everyone accountable, no matter who they are or how many puff pieces the media wrote about them the week before.

At the end of the day, this is about right and wrong. It’s about respect for law and responsibility. Maybe the left should stop idolizing victimhood and start demanding consequences when tragedies like this happen—no matter who is at fault. Or do liberals prefer to hide from the truth when it gets uncomfortable for their agenda?
