Liberal leaders are at it again, doing whatever it takes to hide the truth from voters. California’s own Democrat Attorney General, Rob Bonta, just filed an emergency writ to slam the brakes on a ballot recount that could expose massive problems in the way Governor Gavin Newsom’s big redistricting plan was handled. Nearly 46,000 votes are in question from last year’s special election tied to Proposition 50—Newsom’s controversial pet project. That’s not a small mistake. That’s enough ballots to flip races and crush trust in the system.
Sheriff Chad Bianco of Riverside County saw the giant gap in the vote numbers and decided to act. He wanted an audit, simple as that. Transparency used to be something both parties could support. But not anymore. The left panicked. As soon as the sheriff started asking questions, the Democrat machine rushed to drag everything into a court fight. Why would they try so hard to stop a ballot recount if there’s nothing to hide? Real Americans should be asking why the California elites are so afraid of a little sunlight.
It’s clear what’s happening: the Democrats don’t want anyone poking around in their backroom deals or exposing their sloppy (or maybe calculated) handling of elections. Their answer to every challenge? Lawyer up, bury the evidence, and hope the media spins it their way. All while the people’s faith in honest elections gets trampled. This isn’t just politics—it’s an attack on democracy by the very people who claim to defend it.
Liberals love to lecture the rest of the country about “protecting voting rights” and “counting every vote.” But when their own schemes are on the line, suddenly taking a closer look at nearly 46,000 missing or questionable ballots is off-limits. It’s the height of hypocrisy. These are the same officials who flew the globalist flag and pushed for rushed changes in our election rules, all in the name of “inclusivity,” but when accountability comes knocking, they run scared.
What are Newsom, Bonta, and the rest of the California establishment really trying to hide? If they have nothing to fear, why fight so hard to shut down a simple audit? Maybe they just can’t stand the idea of facing the American people when all the cards are finally laid on the table. Or maybe—just maybe—they’re terrified the truth is about to come crashing down on their house of cards. At the end of the day, if honesty is the enemy of the left, what does that say about their so-called “democracy”?
