Supreme Court move could end Democrats election games with late-arriving mail-in ballots

The Supreme Court just gave a big wake-up call to Democrats banking on their favorite election shenanigans—late-arriving mail-in ballots. Right now, a shocking fourteen states let ballots drift in days after Election Day, as long as they’re postmarked in time. Apparently, counting votes late is some miracle of “expanding democracy” to the left. But there’s nothing democratic about moving the goalposts—especially when federal law says ballots need to be in by Election Day, period.

Liberals love a good loophole. During COVID, they scrambled to force loose mail-in rules, letting ballots show up late for weeks. The left claims this is about “access,” but everyone can see what’s really at play: the longer counting goes on, the more creative Democrats get with the numbers. Are we really supposed to believe it’s just a harmless oversight that in Illinois, you can count mail-in ballots for two entire weeks after Election Day? This is a recipe for disaster—and for fraud.

The left tries to throw up smoke screens, yelping about military and overseas voters. But Congress already handled that years ago, making sure troops and citizens living abroad get their ballots on time. The real issue is local operatives in places like Philadelphia and Chicago using the late mail-in window as their secret back door. Delayed deadlines open the floodgates for ballots of questionable origin, stuffed in at the last minute.

Liberal justices on the Supreme Court couldn’t help but drag up the ghost of Bush v. Gore, hoping to scare the country away from tightening these rules. But the facts are simple. Florida had to fix its own mess back in 2000 because it broke federal law. That’s on the states, not the law itself. Enough with the crocodile tears from the left about supposed “suppression.” Americans are tired of elections that drag on for days or weeks while lawyers and activists fight over every mystery envelope.

If Democrats think letting ballots arrive whenever boosts “confidence” in elections, maybe they should try following federal law for once. How many more razor-thin races are we going to see flipped days after polls close, all in the name of “counting every vote”? The Supreme Court has a chance to slam that door shut. Americans deserve secure, clear, and timely elections—and the radical left, globalists, and their media lapdogs are terrified that their favorite chaos tactic could finally be nuked. Isn’t it time the grown-ups take charge and end the circus?
