For years, weak Republican leadership has caved to liberal pressure, leaving hardworking Americans high and dry. Now, with the Department of Homeland Security on the line, they think Trump will just roll over? Think again. The president is willing to look at the details, but he’s not interested in another “bipartisan” betrayal that gives the left everything and the American people nothing.
These shutdown negotiations always end up the same way—career politicians cutting backroom deals and expecting the rest of us to celebrate crumbs. The left wants open borders, endless handouts, and zero responsibility. Now they’re crying about the shutdown? Give me a break. They’re only worried because their globalist pals aren’t getting their government checks.
The American people elected Trump because they’re tired of empty promises. They want a leader who doesn’t back down just to keep the Washington elite happy. If Republicans want to regain any trust, they need to stop trying to please the radical left and start fighting for us. Being “unhappy” with this phony deal is the only sane response.
If standing up for real border security and the rule of law makes Trump unpopular with the swamp, so be it. America’s safety isn’t up for negotiation—no matter how much the liberal mob howls. At the end of the day, who does Washington actually work for—the people, or their own power?
