California Democrats have shown their true colors—again. With two Republican candidates surging ahead in the governor’s race, the left panicked. What did they do? They canceled a debate. Not days before. Not even a day before. They pulled the plug just hours before it was set to happen.
This is the Democrat playbook. When they’re losing, they change the rules. When they can’t win fair and square, they don’t let anyone play. California has turned from the Golden State into the Shut Up State, where the left silences anyone who threatens their grip on power.
Liberal politicians claim they want “democracy” and “fairness.” But here’s the reality: they run and hide when the heat is on. Instead of standing up and defending their failed policies—policies that have driven working families out with crime, homelessness, and sky-high taxes—they cancel the debate. Because deep down, they know voters are fed up.
The real reason Democrats can’t handle an open debate? Their tired excuses and globalist dreams have nothing to offer regular Californians. They protect special interests, not American families. They fear anyone who exposes how out of touch they are. It’s easier to shut down the conversation than to admit their endless spending and woke nonsense are ruining the state.
If Democrats are so confident about their ideas, why are they afraid to face their opponents? Why do they run for cover instead of answering tough questions? If this is the future liberals want for America, no wonder more and more people are fighting back.
