If you ever needed proof that Democrats truly despise the working class, just watch the way they treated Markwayne Mullin this week. Mullin, a plumber and small business owner, just got confirmed as the next Secretary of Homeland Security. Instead of celebrating a man who’s lived the American Dream, the Left went into full meltdown mode. Why? Because he doesn’t have a fancy college degree. He worked with his hands, ran a plumbing business, and didn’t rack up mountains of student debt just for a useless piece of paper. Imagine that!
Hollywood liberals and their cheerleaders in the media can barely hide their snobbery. A late-night TV clown mocked Mullin, sneering at his working-class background. To these coastal elites, running a business and earning an honest living are things to laugh about—not something to be respected. They forget that most Americans don’t have a college degree, but they do have grit, intelligence, and heart. The so-called “party of the people” just spits on the people who built this country.
What’s really hilarious—if you can stomach the hypocrisy—is that some of these Leftist mouthpieces didn’t finish college themselves. Yet, the second a conservative without “the right credentials” steps up to lead, they lose their minds. They don’t want plumbers or mechanics in charge. They want more empty suits from the Ivy League, the same crowd that gave us endless wars, open borders, and mountains of debt.
No surprise, Democrats reserve their nastiest attacks for anyone who climbs out of real poverty—unless they vote blue, of course. Look at how they sneered at Vice President J.D. Vance, too, just for daring to break through the system without kissing up to liberal academia. It’s pretty obvious what the Left thinks about the men and women who make America run. They want your hard-earned tax dollars, but they’d never let your kid marry into their family.
This is the twisted world we live in now: plumbers get mocked, bureaucrats get medals, and Hollywood millionaires pretend to care about “the little guy” after they mock him on national TV. It’s time we stop letting the elitists run the show. Maybe they should try managing a real business or fixing a leaky pipe before preaching about who’s “qualified” to lead.
Who do you trust to protect America—a real worker who knows something about life, or another pampered talking head who’s never changed a tire or signed a paycheck?
