Once again, America’s twisted legal system bows to the mob. A jury claims that tech giants Google and Meta are “malicious” for supposedly addicting kids to social media. What’s next, lawsuits against fast food for being tasty? Or maybe someone will sue video games for being fun. Instead of holding parents and kids responsible for their own choices, we have another circus, ready to clap shackles on free enterprise.
This verdict is a lawyer’s dream—just what the left wants. Their favorite play: demonize a successful American industry, then line up the lawsuits. Suddenly, every ambulance-chaser in the country will sniff a payday. Meanwhile, the real issues are ignored. Kids who spend hours glued to their phones aren’t the victims of technology. They’re the victims of a culture that’s caved to easy entertainment and absent parenting.
Let’s get real. Social media didn’t just pop up out of nowhere and force itself into homes. Liberal elites, tech “experts,” and globalist Silicon Valley types masterminded these apps, then turned around and cried wolf when things got messy. They loved the power and profit, but now they’re all too happy to blame someone else—anyone but themselves and their disastrous policies.
And where are the Democrats on this? Pretending to care about “protecting the children,” while they’re quick to defend drag queen story hours and force radical curricula on grade schoolers. Suddenly, they’re moral crusaders against Instagram and YouTube. Spare us the fake concern. When it comes to protecting children, the left only steps up if there’s a chance to bash big business or rake in lawsuit cash.
The sad truth? This isn’t about helping kids. It’s about greed, control, and attacking any institution that refuses to kneel before liberal orthodoxy. Big Tech deserves criticism—but not this kangaroo court nonsense. The next time some overpaid lawyer sells you a sob story about “child addiction,” remember who’s really pulling the strings. When will America wake up and stop letting the left use our kids as their personal battering ram?
