Jury slams Big Tech for wrecking kids lives with addictive social media

Big Tech’s Day in Court: Finally, a Reckoning for the Social Media Addicts They Created

Finally, someone is holding Big Tech’s feet to the fire. In Los Angeles, a jury just found Meta (that’s Facebook for those who aren’t up on the latest rebranding tricks) and Google’s YouTube guilty of harming kids with their toxic platforms. These social media giants, run by the likes of Mark Zuckerberg and his Silicon Valley cronies, have gotten fabulously rich selling addictive algorithms to children. And now, at last, the truth is catching up with them.

A young woman took them to court, claiming that her childhood was wrecked by social media addiction. The jury believed her. The damages? Three million dollars. This isn’t just about one person—this is about a generation sacrificed on the altar of screen time and “engagement.” While smug tech billionaires lecture America about democracy and “facts,” they’ve been peddling dopamine hits to our kids, lining their pockets while families and mental health crumble.

Who enabled these tech tyrants in the first place? The liberal elite, of course. They worship at the feet of Big Tech, take their campaign donations, and then turn a blind eye when your child spends hours glued to a screen, losing self-worth to heartless algorithms. Let’s not forget, these are many of the same people who censor conservative speech and pretend to know what’s best for the rest of us. When conservatives warned about the dangers brewing in Silicon Valley, we were called alarmists. Today, a jury says otherwise.

Globalists and leftist politicians love talking about “protecting children” whenever it fits their narrative. But when social media companies—run by their own donors—hook children into an online trap, suddenly it’s all crickets. You’d think for all their talk about the public good, someone in Washington would have stepped up. Instead, parents have been left to fight a losing battle against tech corporations with more money than entire states.

What comes next? The left will wring its hands, act shocked, pretend they had no clue social media addiction was a problem. But make no mistake: they made this bed. Isn’t it time to ask why these globalist corporations are still allowed to brainwash our kids with zero real consequences? America’s families deserve better than Zuckerberg’s experiments and YouTube’s non-stop mind-melt. Maybe it’s time Big Tech finally gets unplugged.
