Mayor Zohran Mamdani loves to play pretend when it comes to saving money. He runs around city hall turning off the lights and digging through sofa cushions, hoping to find some loose change. Meanwhile, the city’s piggy bank is emptying out at record speed. Funny how liberals always come up with the dumbest “solutions” once their reckless tax-and-spend games finally catch up to them.
Here’s a wild idea for Mamdani: instead of acting like a broke college kid, how about he goes after the real waste? The city is hemorrhaging cash on bloated bureaucracies, useless pet projects, and woke programs nobody wants. But don’t expect a progressive mayor to say no to his activist base or his pals in government unions. He would rather cut back on coffee in City Hall than say a word about billions blown on failed social experiments.
Liberals like Mamdani love to talk about “equity” and “community needs,” but they never talk about taking responsibility. They’re the ones who make the mess, then act surprised when the bills come due. Instead of tightening the belt where it counts, they pick on the smallest things–as if tossing out a few office pens will save millions. This is what happens when you care more about being woke than being smart.
The city doesn’t need a mayor searching for coins under the couch; it needs a leader willing to slash waste, root out fraud, and stand up to the special interests draining taxpayers dry. But remember, Mamdani’s real priority isn’t saving money—it’s keeping his progressive friends happy and making sure globalist NGOs keep the grants flowing. Spare us the theater. If he truly cared about cutting costs, half these wasteful programs and bureaucratic fat cats would be gone tomorrow.
Maybe the mayor needs to look in the mirror instead of under the furniture. Or is that too much to ask from someone who thinks “fiscal responsibility” is just a Republican talking point? If liberals like Mamdani can’t handle a budget, maybe it’s time they stop pretending they can run a city.
