Liberals and their globalist allies want to cover our farmlands with ugly panels and turbines, all while pretending they care about the planet. But the people who actually live here are firing back—and who can blame them?
Regular Michigan citizens are sick of being steamrolled by government bureaucrats and out-of-state corporations pretending to save the world. They don’t want to wake up every morning to blinding solar fields or have their property values trashed to help push some green agenda. These are families trying to protect their communities, but the left only sees dollar signs and Green New Deal talking points.
Now, the fights have moved from the town halls to the state legislature and the courts. Here’s the dirty secret: when liberals can’t win over local residents, they just try to silence them with new laws or tie them up with expensive lawsuits. That’s not democracy. That’s bullying by elites who couldn’t care less about small-town America.
And let’s face it—China, the same communist regime poisoning our kids with fentanyl, stands to cash in big from solar panel manufacturing. Yet Democrats trip over themselves to ship Michigan’s prosperity to Beijing, all under the phony banner of “sustainability.” If that’s environmental justice, then pigs have wings.
Maybe it’s time the radicals in Lansing and D.C. remember who they work for. Why should hardworking Americans sacrifice their land and way of life to feed a green monster cooked up by leftists and their global friends? If the left’s grand ideas are so wonderful, why do they need to shove them down our throats?
