And once again, they showed how out-of-touch they are with the needs of America’s national security.
Let’s get this straight: Democrat Chris Murphy from Connecticut led the charge to pull the plug on U.S. military power while the Middle East is on fire. For almost a month, American forces and interests have been under threat. But rather than stand united and strong, liberals want to bog down our own troops with red tape and second-guess commanders. It’s the same old Democrat playbook—surrender now, apologize later.
Here’s the truth liberals don’t want to face: Iran is not a gentle neighbor. Every time Democrats push these anti-war bills, they send a message of weakness to terrorists and dictators around the world. Iran’s regime is just waiting for a signal that America isn’t serious about defending itself or its allies. Why would anyone in their right mind give them that satisfaction?
The left keeps crying about endless wars, but they never want to talk about what happens if we give in. Weakness gets people killed. Tying the hands of our military only helps Iran. It’s no wonder the votes broke almost perfectly along party lines. Republicans know that the only language Iran understands is strength, not empty resolutions in Washington.
When will these globalist Democrats learn that the world isn’t a college debate club? The Senate did the right thing by shutting down Murphy’s latest anti-American fantasy. Maybe next time Democrats can focus on winning for America—instead of giving Iran and our enemies exactly what they want.
