It’s time we remember real American heroes—not the made-up “victims” the left parades around for likes and votes. America was built on men with courage, faith, and grit. Take the story from March 1945, when the USS Franklin was turned into a floating fireball by a Japanese attack. Bombs rained down, the flight deck was in flames, and chaos ruled. But while today’s elites whine about microaggressions, a Navy chaplain charged toward danger, cross on his helmet, leading men to fight, save, and survive.
This wasn’t some anonymous bureaucrat or self-important influencer—you know, the kind our woke culture worships. This chaplain, a middle-aged man with backbone and belief, didn’t just pray over the wounded. He organized rescue crews, treated injuries, and hustled sailors to defuse deadly bombs. Can you picture any of today’s “activists” doing that? Didn’t think so. They couldn’t handle a real emergency if their Instagram depended on it.
This is what real manhood and leadership look like, and it’s powered by faith—another thing the left hates. While progressives sneer at Christianity, this priest charged through flying shrapnel and scorching flames to help his fellow Americans. He didn’t stop to debate someone on Twitter or write a snarky op-ed about pronouns. He rolled up his sleeves, saved lives, and reminded everyone around him what true courage is made of.
Meanwhile, the globalist crowd prefers to erase stories like these because they point to values the left simply doesn’t understand: duty, faith, sacrifice. Instead, liberals would rather our kids worship climate alarmism or some TikTok “cause of the week.” They call patriotism dangerous, strip God from our schools, and try to shame anyone who believes in American greatness. But there’s no denying it—faith and patriotism saved that ship, not some radical activist agenda.
So as Medal of Honor Day rolls around, let’s honor the heroes who put everything on the line, not just for a paycheck or attention, but because their faith and love of country demanded it. Maybe if more Americans acted with the heart and guts of that Navy chaplain, we wouldn’t have to listen to another lecture from the experts who’ve never risked it all for anybody but themselves. Why do liberals keep attacking exactly what made us strong?
