And wouldn’t you know it, the people cheering the loudest? The same hard-left vegetarians at PETA who love attacking conservatives every other day of the week.
The FDA has finally dropped its long-awaited guidance pushing for so-called “new approach methodologies” in drug development. Translation: cutting-edge science and technology might finally begin to replace needlessly cruel animal testing. It’s about time. Trump’s agencies are the ones delivering the results, while Democrats have yapped for decades and done absolutely nothing. Meanwhile, money talks—$150 million is on the table from the NIH, all headed to alternatives to animal testing. But instead of celebrating change that makes sense, the liberal pundits are clutching their pearls and calling foul. These are the same “experts” who told Americans to trust Anthony Fauci no matter how many beagles he tormented in those nasty taxpayer-funded experiments.
Robert F. Kennedy Jr.’s acolytes at PETA and similar groups are going wild in support, proving once again that liberal virtue signaling falls apart when confronted by actual solutions.
