Big Tech Takes a Hit—Finally, Kids Win
Big Tech just got slapped. Meta, the parent company of Facebook and Instagram, has finally tasted a hard defeat, and it’s about time. For years, these Silicon Valley elites have turned a blind eye as social media platforms sucked in kids and exposed them to harmful content. Now, governments and courts are waking up. They’re actually starting to put children first, not just corporate profits or the shallow wokeness that comes out of California.
Everyone agrees kids need protection online. But let’s be honest—liberals have failed miserably at this job. While they rant about “inclusion” and “expression,” Silicon Valley companies have greedily gobbled up private data and allowed creeps to target kids. Kids don’t need more hashtags or rainbow filters; they need real safeguards. And only tough rules, not meaningless statements, will make these tech overlords care.
But let’s not pretend this fight is over. Now the government is jumping in, talking big about protecting privacy too. Here’s the catch—every time these bureaucrats open their mouths about privacy, it usually leads to complicated rules that only make things worse. The real danger? Liberals and globalists want to control every part of the internet with fancy laws and overblown restrictions. They claim it’s all to “protect the vulnerable.” Meanwhile, American freedoms get chipped away, all in the name of keeping us “safe.”
It shouldn’t be this hard. We can keep kids safe online and protect privacy at the same time. The technology exists—it’s just not being used because the left is too busy scoring political points. If lawmakers put half as much energy into real solutions as they do into virtue-signaling, Big Tech would be running scared every single day. Instead, kids remain the ones who pay the price for liberal incompetence and tech greed.
Meta’s loss is a clear win for families. But don’t get too comfortable. The battle for our kids’ minds and our own privacy is just heating up. Americans need to stay alert and push back against the endless meddling of clueless bureaucrats and woke tech giants. When will these elites realize that parents know best—not some tech CEO in Silicon Valley?
