That’s right—one. And when, or if, the wind actually blows, it can produce about 14.7 megawatts of electricity. Sounds impressive until you realize how pathetically small that is compared to America’s real energy needs.
Democrats and globalist elites want you to believe these massive metal windmills are the future. But they ignore the price tag and the almost laughable output. How many billions did they burn through to put a handful of these things in the ocean, all while ignoring real solutions like American oil and natural gas? The radical left keeps pushing these projects, even as they struggle just to keep a single fan spinning.
And let’s talk about reliability. You get electricity when the wind feels like showing up. So, when there’s no breeze, there’s no power. That’s supposed to help hardworking Americans keep their lights on and their homes warm? Liberals dream of a wind-powered utopia, but when reality hits, it’s regular Americans who are stuck paying more for weaker energy output.
Meanwhile, China is laughing. They ramp up coal and oil to keep their country moving, while our own leaders kneecap American energy independence and handcuff our economy with these globalist “green” experiments. Who benefits from this boondoggle? Certainly not American families. But the climate crowd pats themselves on the back for every barely-productive windmill that gets erected offshore.
Instead of wasting more money propping up fragile, inefficient energy “solutions,” maybe it’s time to put America first again. Drill here, drill now—put people to work and keep this country strong. Or maybe the left just wants us all sitting in the dark when the wind dies down. Is this really the future they want for America?
