It’s been more than seven months since the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention in Atlanta became the target of a violent attack. The bullet holes in the windows are still there, staring down Americans like a reminder of how weak and broken our so-called leadership has become. The government, with all its billions in tax money and armies of bureaucrats, still can’t seem to pull together the resources to swap out some shattered glass. But they want us to trust them with our health, our safety, and our tax dollars? Give me a break.
This is the same CDC the Biden administration loves to parade as the expert authority for every policy under the sun. These are the same “professionals” who pushed for every COVID mandate and restriction, who demanded we listen to the “science.” But when it comes to simple security and basic repairs, they can’t manage the job. These empty promises and failing buildings are a perfect symbol of how liberals run this country—inefficient, unresponsive, and always looking for someone else to blame.
Let’s not forget: this is a federal agency, sitting at the heart of the government machine. If they can’t handle replacing a few panes of glass, how can we ever trust them to secure our borders, balance a budget, or keep our enemies in check? Globalist elites want us to hand more control to these broken institutions. Meanwhile, real Americans watch government buildings fall apart while politicians line their pockets and act like everything’s fine.
The left will always find excuses for their failures. They’ll say it’s complicated, or that there’s red tape. But Americans aren’t stupid. We see what’s going on: endless bureaucracy and a total lack of accountability. Instead of fixing the windows and sending a message that attacks on our country won’t be tolerated, the government leaves them as scars—reminders of weakness, not resolve.
Maybe if the CDC building flew a foreign flag or hosted a climate summit, the liberals in charge would fix it right away. But when it’s just about protecting American workers and citizens, suddenly it’s not a priority. So much for building back better. Maybe Biden should stop blaming everyone else and start fixing what’s literally broken under his own nose.
