But make no mistake: Cooke isn’t running to represent the good people of her district. She’s running to check every box on the radical Democrat gun control agenda.

Cooke wants sweeping new gun laws that would ban AR-15s—one of the most popular rifles in America—and dump even more rules on law-abiding citizens. She hides behind the usual talking points, trying to claim she just wants to keep people safe. But her real plan is to chip away at the Second Amendment, slapping more “universal” background checks and so-called red flag laws on gun owners. She even wants to eliminate what the left calls the “Charleston loophole,” just another phrase for stripping your rights using process and paperwork.

There’s no other way to put it: Cooke’s platform is a direct attack on Wisconsin’s traditions. For generations, folks here have prized their freedom, protected their families, and enjoyed hunting without big government sticking its nose where it doesn’t belong. Even past Democrats in the district weren’t this extreme. The last guy actually stood up to his own party, refusing to ban common firearms and magazine sizes. But Cooke is eager to please the Democrat machine—no matter what her own voters think.

It gets worse. When she’s not working to take away your guns, Cooke is cozying up to the far-left open borders crowd. She’s called America’s immigration enforcement “disgusting and wrong,” parroted anti-ICE slogans, and refuses to answer basic questions about whether she’d support deporting illegal immigrants. If you’re wondering who’s really pulling the strings, just look at who applauds these anti-American stunts. Spoiler: it’s not working class Wisconsinites.

This is what the modern Democrat looks like—radical, reckless, and more interested in impressing Beltway big shots than standing with regular people.
