California has done it again. Just when you think the state couldn’t get any more politically correct, Governor Gavin Newsom goes ahead and erases Cesar Chavez Day—one of the few days left that honored American grit and leadership in the labor movement. Now, it’s been wiped away and replaced with the bland, open-ended “Farmworkers Day.” Another perfect example of the left burying history to score cheap political points.
It’s incredible how fast this law sailed through California’s radical legislature. Not one voice in the state Senate or Assembly stood up against it. They didn’t even bat an eye at tossing Chavez aside—one of their supposed heroes—all to push a narrative that makes their activists smile and their globalist donors richer. It’s almost laughable. These politicians love to act “inclusive” while actually erasing any spirit that once made California unique.
This isn’t just about renaming a holiday. It’s about stomping on American heritage and strength. Chavez fought for farmworkers, but he also believed in legal immigration and putting American jobs first. The far-left doesn’t mention those inconvenient facts. They would rather turn everything into a dull, faceless celebration of “the collective.” Cesar Chavez was never about erasing identity. Newsom and his buddies in Sacramento are—plain and simple.
The real winners here are the elites who want to keep our borders wide open for big corporations who want cheap labor and weak wage laws. It’s globalist nonsense, served up with a phony smile. Newsom and his cronies don’t care about farmworkers. If they did, California wouldn’t be the state where the working class suffers the most, taxed out of their minds while illegal labor is rewarded.
So, go ahead, Governor. Change the names, rewrite the holidays, run California into the ground. The rest of America is watching. The woke circus never stops in the Golden State, but real patriots know what’s going on. Is this what progress looks like—erasing our history and rewarding the powerful? Only in California.
