Washington bureaucrats finally woke up and did something right for once, giving early approval to a hydropower project in Nevada. Imagine that—an actual step forward while Western states are on the brink of a water disaster, with families and farmers begging for real solutions. Of course, it took a crisis for the feds to pull their heads out of the sand.
For years, liberals in power have done nothing but cry about climate change while blocking common-sense energy projects. They push their wild green fantasies with windmills and solar panels that can’t do the job. But when Americans need real, reliable energy—like hydropower—the left drags its feet, tangled up in red tape and “environmental” lawsuits. Finally, after all the hand-wringing, this Nevada project sneaks through. It’s almost like Washington realized standing in the way of real infrastructure makes them look foolish.
The West is running dry. Families are forced to deal with water shortages because the politicians in charge have ignored the facts. Instead of investing in proven solutions, they waste money on pointless climate conferences and lecture hardworking Americans about shrinking “carbon footprints.” Meanwhile, our dams, water storage, and hydropower potential sit unused, thanks to endless delays pushed by radical activists and their friends in high places.
This move in Nevada should have happened a decade ago. America needs clean, affordable, homegrown energy. Hydropower is already here, made possible by the sweat and brains of earlier generations. Yet the globalist crowd wants us to rely on foreign-mined minerals and unreliable solar panels from China. Never mind that bringing hydropower online means jobs, security, and less dependence on unstable regimes overseas. Liberals would rather hold us hostage to their broken climate playbook than build anything that works.
Now that the feds have given a small green light, will the left still find a way to stall and sabotage? Or will they finally admit that real American energy comes from rolling up your sleeves, not pandering to out-of-touch elites? Nevada’s project is proof: when you get government out of the way, American innovation wins every time.
