It’s almost funny, if it weren’t so sad. For years, conservatives have put up with fake outrage and phony accusations from Democrats like Elizabeth Warren, the senator who once tried to pass herself off as “American Indian” on a state bar application back in the 80s. Remember that? She claimed to be something she wasn’t, milked it for all it was worth, and then had the nerve to lecture real Americans about honesty and integrity.
What’s really outrageous isn’t Warren’s blatant stretch of the truth—after all, the left never pays for their own lies—but that there are still people on the Republican side who seem all too happy to go along with this nonsense. Instead of fighting back, instead of calling out these liberal scams, too many so-called “Republicans” bend over backwards to avoid being called names. With “friends” like these, who even needs enemies?
Trump understood how to handle phonies like Warren. While the media lost their minds, he was the only one willing to call her out for pretending to be something she wasn’t. He gave her the nickname she’ll never live down. That’s what conservatives want: someone who isn’t afraid to put liberals like Warren on blast, even when it ruffles a few feathers.
Meanwhile, the left keeps rolling out their ridiculous talking points, pretending they’re the champions of the “oppressed” while pulling every trick in the book to get ahead. They lie, they smear real Americans, and they expect us all to clap for them. Even when they’re caught, they don’t apologize. They just double down and keep lecturing us about “privilege.”
And still—still!—there are Republicans who would rather join polite society than stand up for the truth. Maybe that’s why the country is in such a mess. With liberals making a mockery of identity, patriotism, and fair play, the last thing we need are squishy Republicans handing them a free pass. America deserves real fighters, not Republican saboteurs selling us out. If some on our side care more about fitting in with Elizabeth Warren than supporting actual conservatives, maybe they belong on the left.
