This judge slapped down a temporary restraining order to pause the merger between Nexstar and Tegna—two broadcasting giants who simply wanted to do business. But, apparently, competition and growth scare liberals to death.
Every time businesses try to grow in this country, a liberal judge steps in and plays hero. They talk about concern for “monopoly” or “media consolidation,” but everyone knows this is just code for keeping power in the hands of their friends. If it was a globalist firm, pumping leftist propaganda onto your TV, you can bet this merger would have sailed through without even a slap on the wrist. But when American companies try to stand tall, suddenly it’s a dire “threat to democracy.”
It’s no secret why the left hates the idea of conservative-friendly companies having a bigger voice. The liberal establishment wants to control every bit of information you hear, see, and think. Any business that doesn’t bow to the woke agenda gets roadblocked by their activist judges. These liberals claim to support innovation—until it threatens their own narrative.
