The world is watching as Iran continues its campaign of terror and chaos. While some on the left are content to wring their hands and apologize for American strength, true leaders understand that enough is enough. As a former U.S. Ambassador to Denmark has rightly pointed out, it’s high time that NATO steps up to the plate and finally supports real action against the Iranian regime.
Let’s face it: for too long, Europe has been happy to let America do all the heavy lifting. When U.S. interests are on the line—when freedom and stability are threatened—it shouldn’t just be Washington calling the shots and paying the price. NATO was created to defend Western civilization, not just to act like a global social club. When will these so-called allies finally have our backs instead of hiding behind empty speeches and virtue-signaling?
President Trump understood the threat Iran poses to peace and security—not just in the Middle East, but across the globe. He took bold steps to rein in Iran’s aggression, something the Biden crowd cowardly reversed in favor of appeasing terrorists and sending pallets of cash to dictators. Now, sensible voices are speaking up and demanding that NATO stands shoulder-to-shoulder with America to finish what Trump started—restoring order and shutting down the ayatollahs for good.
But the globalist elite and their media mouthpieces hate this kind of talk. They’d rather see the world bow down to rogue states than admit America leads best when it leads from a position of strength. They moan about “righteous causes” and “shared responsibility,” but when it comes time to actually act, liberals hide behind bureaucracy and pointless summits. America doesn’t have time for weakness. The West needs real leadership, not endless committees and finger-pointing.
It’s time for the free world—led by strong allies in NATO—to stop making excuses and start taking the fight to Iran. If the so-called defenders of democracy won’t get serious now, exactly what are they waiting for? Maybe when Europe wakes up to the real dangers, we’ll finally see backbone instead of just bluster.
