Mayor Zohran Mamdani, like so many other far-Left ideologues, has shouted from the rooftops that New York City could do just fine without its wealthy residents. But reality just delivered him a big, cold slap in the face.
Let’s get one thing straight: Millionaires are the backbone of New York City’s economy. They pay massive taxes. They hire workers and keep restaurants, shops, and small businesses alive. The city’s famous skyline isn’t funded by feelings—it’s funded by dollars. Yet radical Democrats like Mamdani want to kick the rich out with punishing taxes and endless shaming. What happens? Those millionaires pack their bags and head for friendlier skies—Florida, Texas, you name it.
And then comes the twist. Suddenly, these same progressive leaders start scrambling when the city budget falls apart. Suddenly, all those “we don’t need the rich” speeches vanish, and they realize their socialist dream is a nightmare. The math doesn’t lie: fewer millionaires equals less money for schools, hospitals, and police—something the working class ends up paying for, every single time.
Liberal incompetence is destroying the very fabric of America’s greatest city. It’s not just hypocrisy, it’s economic sabotage. The globalist crowd loves to pretend you can run a massive city on fairy tales and promises. But it turns out the “evil rich” are the ones footing the bill for Mamdani’s failed utopia. And when they leave, the city crumbles.
When will these woke politicians learn? America was built on ambition, success—and yes, wealth. If New York runs out of millionaires, maybe Mamdani should start asking Beijing or Brussels for handouts. Or better yet, move aside for someone who actually wants to see this city thrive instead of driving it into the ground.
