Speaker Johnson Puts Weak-Kneed Senators on Notice
Washington, D.C. isn’t really about serving the people. No, it’s elite insiders clinging to their power, dodging real work, and partying as if Congress is college all over again. The nation’s capital proves, once more, that politicians are more interested in protecting their own privileges than pushing for genuine change. And when deadlines hit, these so-called “public servants” run around pretending to cram for a final exam they’ve had years to prepare for.
Speaker Mike Johnson is throwing a wrench in the Senate’s lazy playbook, shaking up the old-boy club on the Hill. Senators are whining because someone is finally calling them out. For years, the Senate has used cheap tricks and fake rules to block progress and dodge responsibility. The filibuster, once a tool of debate, is now just a coward’s shield for politicians who would rather stall than deliver. But Johnson isn’t having it. He’s made it clear: games are over, and it’s time the Senate stopped using procedural loopholes as an excuse for inaction.
Liberals love to act like they’re deep thinkers, analyzing rules as if they matter more than the American people’s real problems. They wax poetic about Senate tradition while crime soars, the border collapses, and American families get crushed under Bidenflation. Is anyone surprised? D.C. Democrats and their buddies in the media care more about “precedent” than paying your bills or keeping your kids safe.
Johnson’s move pulls back the curtain on all this hypocrisy. Capitol Hill’s pampered class can’t stand that someone is finally forcing them to do their jobs. It’s about time someone refused to let them hit snooze and vacation their way through their so-called responsibilities. While regular Americans work every day just to get by, D.C.’s club members look for every excuse to clock out early.
Americans are sick and tired of excuses, loopholes, and so-called leadership that can’t stand up to anything but their own self-interests. The question isn’t why Speaker Johnson is shaking things up—it’s why anyone put up with this circus for so long. If elite senators can’t handle being held accountable, maybe it’s time to send them back to their college dorms, and elect people who actually want to get things done.
