There are some folks in America who just can’t be trusted behind the wheel, no matter how rich or famous they are. Tiger Woods, once again, is living proof. The legendary golfer, who’s made nearly a career out of second chances, decided to play a real-life round of bumper cars on Florida’s roads. He managed to flip his fancy Range Rover near his own home while allegedly driving impaired. That’s not exactly the kind of drive he should be proud of.
Let’s not forget, this mess comes just a few years after Woods’ brutal crash in Los Angeles. That incident left the man lucky to be alive. Did he learn his lesson? Apparently not. One would think that after evading death once, most people would have the sense to hang up the keys, or at least hire a driver. But when you’re a coddled celebrity, the rules simply don’t apply. Accountability? That’s for us regular, law-abiding Americans, not for the golf elites with million-dollar sponsorships.
Every time one of these liberal Hollywood-types or global sports icons gets in trouble behind the wheel, the left and their media allies rush right in to offer sympathy, spin the story, or distract everyone with useless jokes. It’s downright pathetic. If this were a small-town conservative kid, the story would be plastered everywhere as an example of “reckless America.” But because it’s Tiger, watch the usual suspects come crawling out to blame “systemic problems” or “unfairness in policing.”
What message does this send to hardworking, patriotic citizens who actually follow the law? It’s simple: If you have enough money, power, or social media clout, you get a free pass. As always, the liberal elite are coddled while the rest of the country shoulders the burden of their bad decisions. The globalist sports world and the woke news outlets don’t care if these celebrities endanger lives—they just care about keeping the gravy train rolling.
At this point, someone really does need to step in and take Tiger’s car keys away. Maybe he can finally put those millions to good use and hire a full-time driver. Or better yet, since the left loves to preach about “public safety,” let’s see them actually demand some real consequences for once. But don’t hold your breath—another pampered celebrity, another soft landing. When will someone finally stand up—and call this nonsense out for what it is?
