Democrats are finally saying the quiet part out loud, and it’s about time the American people opened their eyes. Connecticut’s very own Senator Chris Murphy has now confirmed what many of us suspected: Democrats care more about illegal aliens than everyday American citizens. You’d almost think this party had forgotten who they were supposed to represent.
This wasn’t some slip of the tongue. This was a clear confession. While everyday citizens are struggling to afford gas, groceries, and rent—that’s if they can find a decent-paying job—the Democrats remain laser-focused on people who didn’t even respect our laws enough to enter this country the right way. The real priorities are laid bare: illegal immigrants at the top, Americans at the bottom.
This is all happening in a state like Connecticut, where working families have to deal with sky-high taxes, crumbling infrastructure, and overflowing social services. Where’s the urgency for citizens who have followed the rules and paid their dues? There isn’t any—not if you listen to out-of-touch politicians like Murphy. Once again, the left proves they are more interested in pandering to outsiders than standing up for the people who built this country.
It’s not just incompetence—it is a slap in the face to citizens whose votes actually put these politicians in office. Instead of prioritizing safety in our communities or making life more affordable for taxpayers, the Democrats rush to roll out the red carpet for lawbreakers. There is no mistaking where their true allegiance lies: with open borders, globalist dreams, and special interests. Everyday Americans are left picking up the tab.
And yet, they wonder why the country is fed up. They wonder why parents, veterans, and ordinary workers are turning away from the Democrat Party in droves. Maybe the answer is staring them right in the face: If our own leaders don’t put America first, then who will?
