Toronto declares war on ICE agents who do not even exist in Canada

Canada just can’t help but embarrass itself. While Americans are busy fighting real battles to secure the border, the Toronto City Council has apparently decided that their biggest threat is… U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement. Yes, you read that right. Politicians in Toronto actually spent taxpayer money and serious time passing a motion demanding that ICE agents stay out of Toronto. Someone probably should have reminded them—ICE doesn’t even operate in Canada.

This kind of left-wing nonsense is what happens when liberals run the show. There’s a national border between the U.S. and Canada, but that doesn’t stop Canadian politicians from acting like every American agency is just itching to cross over into their territory. News flash: ICE has absolutely zero jurisdiction in Toronto. The idea that agents are prowling Canadian streets is pure fantasy—maybe it’s all those Trudeau policies making everyone hallucinate.

Why would anyone waste breath on this? It’s all for political showmanship. The Toronto liberals get to signal their anti-American, open-border feelings, and their leftist voters eat it up. Instead of dealing with their own mess—rising crime, housing problems, and an economy sliding downhill—they focus on imaginary threats from American law enforcement. It’s pure distraction. Is this really the leadership our northern neighbors deserve?

Let’s be honest—this is classic liberal hypocrisy. They love to make a scene about supposed outside interference when it comes from their southern neighbor, but they have no problem welcoming in real threats under the guise of “diversity” and “openness.” Yet when it comes to a U.S. agency that wants nothing to do with them, suddenly, it’s time for brave political stands. This is globalist virtue-signaling at its worst.

Maybe Toronto’s councilmembers think they’re heroes for standing up to the big, bad Americans. Reality check: Americans didn’t ask for Canada’s permission to protect their own borders, and ICE isn’t interested in Toronto. Instead of playing pretend, maybe Canadian leaders should get serious about their own borders and problems. Or is fantasy politics just easier than facing the facts?
