Woke economists want Americans to believe that the biggest threat to our economy is the worker shortage, but here’s a shocking fact: healthy, able-bodied people are dragging down our nation’s productivity. That’s right—America is experiencing a crisis not because people are sick, but because too many healthy folks are sitting on the sidelines, refusing to join the workforce while the elites in Washington scratch their heads and wonder why things aren’t getting better.
That’s not the only issue crushing average Americans. The price of gas is skyrocketing well above $4 a gallon while the Federal Reserve’s so-called “experts” once again plot out another round of punishing interest rate hikes. Apparently, the geniuses running the show think squeezing middle-class families with higher mortgage and credit card rates will somehow fix what they broke in the first place. Translation: the little guy gets hammered trying to fill the tank and keep the lights on, all so the globalist crowd can protect their Wall Street friends.
It’s almost comical—if it weren’t so infuriating. The liberals and their pals in the media wring their hands about climate change and “equity” while ignoring the reality on the ground. Regular Americans are being told to tighten their belts, drive less, and expect less, all while inflation eats away at every hard-earned dollar. Meanwhile, bureaucrats and bigwigs cruise around in government cars, insulated from the pain they’re inflicting on the country.
And let’s talk about those healthy Americans choosing not to work. This is the direct result of years of handouts, subsidies, and government nanny-state nonsense that discouraged an honest day’s work. Instead of rewarding productivity, these liberal policies create a culture where sitting at home collecting checks is a better “career” than clocking in at a real job. It’s a recipe for disaster, and the proof is staring us in the face with stagnant productivity numbers and an economy that feels rigged against anyone who still believes in hard work.
Only a liberal economist could look at these results and scratch his head, blaming everything but their own misguided, globalist policies. Maybe it’s time these so-called “leaders” stop treating healthy Americans like victims and start expecting real contributions to the nation. Or are the left-wing elites just hoping regular folks stay idle while they tighten their stranglehold? America deserves better than leaders who think higher gas prices and lazy economic policies are the answer.
