Over the weekend, a pack of so-called activists in America gathered to yell at shadows, whining about some imagined king ruling their lives. It’s a joke. The truth is, these privileged leftists have no idea what real oppression looks like. They protest the comforts of the very system that gives them freedom to act like fools, while halfway around the world, actual people struggle just to drink a glass of clean water.
Let’s talk about Cuba—a country where communism has turned every basic need into a luxury. Cubans can’t just turn on the tap and drink. No, they have to hunt for safe water, because their government spends its energy crushing freedom, not helping families. While pampered American liberals sip their lattes, Cubans line up for hours to get what we all take for granted. That’s the real face of socialist utopia.
This is what happens when leftist ideas take over. The people at the top get richer, and everyone else suffers. Cubans would do anything for the chance to live in the “oppressive” America these loudmouths complain about. They risk their lives on rafts, escaping the communist disaster, all to reach a place where they can speak, work, and drink water without asking permission from some bureaucrat.
Yet the loudest voices on the American left don’t care. They are too busy inventing new ways to be offended, too blind to see the suffering socialism brings. These so-called progressives pretend to fight for the little guy, but all they really do is show off how little they actually know. It’s pure hypocrisy to scream “fascism” in a land built on freedom, while ignoring the real tyrants crushing lives just a short flight away.
If these woke college kids really cared about injustice, they’d stop playing revolution in the park and pay attention to what happens when their policies win. Maybe it’s time they tried drinking water in Cuba themselves. But we all know they’ll just keep pretending. Because for the American left, the truth is the last thing they want to swallow.
