For years, terrorist groups like Hezbollah have launched attack after attack, hiding like cowards behind civilians. This time, Israel is refusing to back down.
Hezbollah couldn’t care less about peace. The truth is, these extremists have been poking the Israeli bear for decades. But now, Netanyahu says the days of restraint are over. Israel plans to widen a security buffer in Lebanon — and who can blame them? Any sane country would do exactly the same if maniacs kept firing rockets across their border.
Of course, you can already hear the professional hand-wringers on the left and in their globalist newsrooms. They whine about “proportional response” and pretend there’s some moral middle ground with terrorists. These liberals love to virtue signal from their safe cities while Israelis fight for their lives. Meanwhile, the Biden administration and its pals wring their hands or, worse, try to tell Israel to make nice with people who won’t even recognize their right to exist.
Why should Israel wait for approval from international elites who can’t even protect their own streets? When it comes down to national survival, the only right answer is strength. Liberals love to snark about “military escalation,” but they’ve never had rockets raining down on their homes. Maybe it’s time they stop lecturing countries that actually know what real danger looks like.
America could learn a thing or two from Israel’s leadership. Stand up, fight back, and put your people first. If Biden and the weak-kneed left want to sell out our allies or cozy up to terrorists, that’s on them. Israel is finally drawing a red line — and it’s about time someone did. Why is standing up to evil so hard for liberals to understand?
