Who exactly is responsible for these “safe” roads and vehicles? The Tennessee Department of Transportation, an agency packed with overpaid officials more focused on climate boondoggles, fancy new office chairs, and diversity training than the things that actually save lives. Bet you won’t see any liberal politician demanding accountability for their crumbling infrastructure after this. They love to bark about spending, but when push comes to shove, our children are still put in harm’s way while bureaucrats collect fat salaries.
This isn’t just a tragic accident—it’s the result of priorities gone wild. Local officials are always eager to rubber-stamp destructive policies pushed by big-city progressives and globalists who couldn’t care less about American families. They spend more time rewriting rules for “equitable” contracts than making sure school buses and work trucks don’t collide. The left loves to lecture hardworking families about “the greater good,” but when tragedy strikes, they’re nowhere to be found.
Where was the urgent leadership to make sure these kids were protected? Nowhere. Liberals are very quick to make excuses and talk about “systemic” problems. Yet, somehow, the system they run never seems to work for ordinary Americans. They’ve got money for woke pet projects and foreign handouts, but they won’t lift a finger to fix the real problems right in their own backyard.
Maybe next time, the powers that be will wake up and put American boys and girls first. Or will they just keep pushing their broken agendas while we pay the cost? Enough is enough.
