UVA forces students to fund drag bingo with tuition money not scholarships

The University of Virginia has done it again. While hardworking families struggle to pay tuition, the school has decided that student money is best spent on bingo nights celebrating drag. Not scholarships, not classroom upgrades, not job fairs — but taxpayer-like student fees funding a spectacle straight out of the far-left playbook.

Let’s call this what it is: forced indoctrination, paid for by captive student wallets. The so-called “activity fees” aren’t optional. Students don’t have a say in what their money funds. Instead, the university’s woke administrators turn around and shovel cash toward events that mock traditional values and push radical culture. Parents send their children to college for a real education. Instead, their thousands in tuition go to drag performers and bingo cards.

Liberals love to preach about tolerance and diversity — as long as it means everyone must clap for their fringe pet projects. If a student objected to this use of their money, they’d likely get called names or face campus harassment. Meanwhile, try funding a patriotic event on these campuses. Conservative speakers? American flags? Forget it. The double standard is blinding.

UVA’s priorities are a joke. The university gets land built by Virginia’s founders, but now its leaders snub history and American roots to virtue-signal with taxpayer-style funds. It’s globalism dressed in cheap glitter. Kids are told to be open-minded, but only if it lines up with whatever the ivory tower leftists decide this week.

Why should students put up with this? Why do families continue paying into an education system obsessed with turning out indoctrinated activists instead of accomplished citizens? Maybe it’s time for UVA and schools like it to remember who they serve — or get used to losing all credibility from the American people.
