Americans Squeezed by Gas Prices While Elites Ride in Comfort

The latest Gallup poll claims that Americans aren’t losing sleep over another painful gas price spike, even after more chaos from Iran. Supposedly, the average consumer is shrugging off the higher bills at the pump. Maybe the experts think Americans just have deep pockets these days. Or maybe the left believes we should just suck it up and embrace the pain for their so-called greater good. Either way, it’s hard to ignore the truth: under this administration, the common man gets squeezed while the elites relax in their climate-controlled limos.

It’s no secret that global conflict sends gas prices skyrocketing. And what do we hear from the current crowd in Washington? More excuses, more finger-pointing, and a lot less action. Time and again, Americans are told to simply adjust to higher costs while our so-called leaders cozy up to foreign adversaries and do next-to-nothing for energy independence. They’d rather blame Iran or “unforeseen circumstances” than examine their own policies that tie us down and keep prices high.

The poll might say folks aren’t panicking, but let’s get real. Small businesses, truckers, and ordinary families notice every single cent that ticks upward. Liberals in their DC bubbles might be oblivious, but regular people tighten their belts to afford an extra gallon just to get to work. This administration—so eager to kill off reliable American energy—acts like sky-high prices are just the new normal. They might not mind; after all, it’s easier to push a green agenda when you price drivers off the road.

America used to lead the world in affordable energy. Now, thanks to Bidenomics and leftist policies, we’re all supposed to pretend that it’s no big deal when fuel eats up more of our paychecks. Funny how the people making these decisions would never notice a few extra bucks at the pump.

Are Americans truly unbothered—or are they just too tired of expecting anything better from leaders who clearly don’t care? Maybe it’s time to stop settling for less, start demanding real solutions, and remind Washington that we don’t forget who made it this way.
