Christian Cardinal Blocked on Palm Sunday and the Media Ignores It

There’s something deeply wrong when Christian leaders can’t even enter their own holy sites. On Palm Sunday, a Latin Cardinal tried to visit the Church of the Holy Sepulcher—a place every Christian dreams of seeing. But some Israeli authorities thought blocking a religious leader on one of the biggest days in our faith was just fine. It’s disgraceful, and it’s the kind of headline that gets buried when the left-wing media is too busy lecturing America about “tolerance.”

Ambassador Mike Huckabee wasn’t fooled. He saw right through the bureaucratic nonsense and called out this act for what it was: an unacceptable slap in the face to Christians everywhere. While globalist elites are always ready to defend every other group in the world, they turn silent when it’s our traditions or faith under attack. Just imagine the global outcry if someone blocked a major Muslim or Jewish figure from a holy site on a sacred day. But when it’s Christians? Crickets.

Liberal officials love to preach about religious freedom—as long as it fits their narrative. But when a Christian cardinal gets told to turn around at the holiest city on Earth, their selective outrage is exposed. Where are the senate speeches or the tweets demanding answers? Nowhere to be found, because standing up for Christians simply doesn’t score them enough woke points.

Here’s the blunt truth: Christians are under attack, not just by radicals in the Middle East, but by a system terrified of offending everyone except Bible-believers. When an ambassador says enough is enough, you know the situation is out of hand. Huckabee did what too many politicians are scared to do—demand respect for Christianity in the very land where it began.

It’s time for the world to stop looking the other way. If the so-called champions of diversity can’t speak up for Christians, then maybe it’s up to real conservatives to do their job. Will the left ever wake up and admit that Christian rights matter? Or are they just too busy rewriting history and canceling Christmas?
