It’s unbelievable how far the left will go to mess with the American dream. Now, Elizabeth Warren and her band of social engineers want to sneak their woke nonsense into a bipartisan housing deal, all in the name of “fairness.” But penalizing “build to rent” projects? That’s not fair—that’s pure economic sabotage.
Everyone knows there’s a massive housing shortage in this country. Prices are through the roof. Young families, hard-working folks just trying to get ahead, can’t even afford a starter home. So what’s the logic coming from the progressive crowd? Make it harder for builders to create new homes for rent. No, really—that’s what’s buried in this bill, thanks to Warren’s meddling.
Senator Tim Scott and others did the hard work to build some real momentum for a housing reform plan that could actually deliver results. But Warren’s big-government ideology is like poison in the well. Her old, tired ideas about “social justice” sound great at Ivy League cocktail parties, but in the real world, they kill jobs and crush opportunity. Liberals claim to care about affordability, but their policies only make things worse—for regular Americans.
It’s almost like they want people desperate, dependent on government handouts, and forever renting from mega-corporations. Any common sense fix—like letting the private market build more homes, faster—is met with roadblocks thrown up by out-of-touch Democrats. They pretend to protect the little guy, but all they create is gridlock and misery.
Why should American families pay the price for the radical schemes of an unelected elite? It’s time to say enough is enough. If we want homes people can actually afford, toss the social engineering out the window and let builders build. Don’t let Liz Warren’s leftist fantasies destroy housing for another generation. The question is simple: Who does government work for—Americans, or arrogant ideologues in Washington?
