The liberal media really can’t help themselves. Every time a Democrat steps out of the shadows, the press lines up to gush over every tiny detail. The latest example? Rahm Emanuel, Obama’s old right-hand man and now a possible 2028 White House wannabe. Instead of holding him accountable for his record and policies, one so-called journalist decided the American people desperately needed a play-by-play of how Rahm eats a salad and puts one foot in front of the other. You can’t make this stuff up.
The leftwing writer painted a picture of Emanuel tearing into his lunch like it was a declaration of war—and somehow, that’s supposed to be presidential material. Salad dressing poured with “ferocity”? Give us a break. The writer breathlessly claimed that this is how we’ll know he’s ready to lead the country. Apparently, watching a Democrat dump dressing on greens is now hard-hitting political reporting.
The insanity didn’t stop there. This clown show continued with a dramatic rundown about Rahm’s walking style. That’s right—his walk! The article went on about his custom socks and fancy Italian loafers. The message? Anyone who struts around in $3,700 shoes and moves forward must be fit to run the country. No mention of failed policies, no questions about integrity—just worship of every step he takes.
This is the same media that shouts about “dangerous” Republicans if a conservative so much as raises their voice in a diner. When the left walks or eats or breathes, it’s “heroic.” When the right so much as sneezes, it’s an “attack on democracy.” The hypocrisy is shameless and the double standard is obvious to any honest American.
If anyone is still wondering why trust in the press is in the basement, look no further than this latest puff piece pretending to be journalism. The media have turned into hype men for Democrats, drooling over salads and sock choices instead of reporting the truth. America deserves better. Maybe next time, they’ll write about which dressing Hunter Biden prefers—or just admit their real job is Democrat PR. How much more embarrassing can they get?
