New York City, once proud to call itself the city of dreams, is drowning under its own disastrous policies. For six straight years, good jobs have slipped away, replaced with little more than hollow promises from city officials and new welfare positions. The so-called “leaders” in city hall are racing to prop up the endless waves of migrants pouring in, while hardworking Americans are left behind.
This isn’t an accident. It’s the direct result of liberal incompetence: open border fanatics working hand in glove with globalist interests to remake our nation at our expense. Instead of investing in real jobs for law-abiding Americans, the city bureaucracy is ballooning—more government workers, more case managers, more people handing out checks and free stuff to anyone but the taxpayers who make this whole city tick.
Meanwhile, actual industries are suffering. Private sector jobs—good jobs that give families hope and opportunity—are vanishing. It’s not hard to see why: taxes keep climbing, crime remains out of control, and businesses are strangled by endless regulations designed by clueless elites sipping lattes in Manhattan office towers. No wonder New Yorkers who can afford to are voting with their feet, packing up, and leaving for places that still care about common sense.
The big progressive experiment has failed, but no one at city hall seems willing to admit it. Instead, they double down, pretending everything will work out as long as there’s another handout and self-congratulatory press conference. All the while, real Americans keep losing ground. Garbage piles up, stores board their windows, and New York’s famous energy is replaced by a gnawing sense of decline.
This is not compassion. This is not progress. This is what happens when you put ideologues in charge and let anti-American interests run wild. How many more jobs have to disappear before someone, anyone, wakes up and says enough is enough?
