Once again, the White House is being forced to stand up for basic American values, this time against the latest outburst from Rome. Pope Leo XIV seems to think God turns His back on American patriots—especially our brave troops who are out there risking everything for our safety. According to the Vatican, apparently, God doesn’t hear prayers from people who are willing to fight for what’s right. You can’t make this up.
Thankfully, the White House isn’t rolling over. When reporters asked about the Pope’s bizarre claim, Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt made it clear: praying for our troops is not just fine, it’s exactly what this country should be doing. Americans pray for the men and women in uniform because we want them safe, strong, and victorious. If the Pope or any globalist elitist thinks that’s wrong, maybe they should spend a little more time on the ground here in the real world.
What’s really going on here? The radical left, along with their pals overseas, seem to despise the idea of American strength. They want us to feel guilty for defending ourselves. They act shocked when people stand up for their homeland. Meanwhile, they turn a blind eye to the horrors committed by America’s enemies. It’s pure hypocrisy. If someone invaded the Vatican, you can bet they’d be praying for someone with tanks, not just candles.
These anti-American lectures from international figures always happen when we’re winning, not losing. That’s not by accident. They want America on its knees—spiritually and literally. The fact is, praying for the troops goes hand-in-hand with loving your country. Only the out-of-touch elite have a problem with that.
Next time someone tries to shame you for praying for America’s military, remember who you’re up against. If defending the USA makes us sinners, then maybe the real sin is turning your back on the people who keep you free.
