The truth is finally breaking through, despite the Left’s best efforts to bury it. Another innocent American—Sheridan Gorman, just 18—was killed in cold blood by someone who never should have been here in the first place. An illegal alien, wanted for previous crimes, slipped across our open border, thanks to Biden’s disastrous policies, and murdered this young woman. This happened in one of America’s blue states, in a so-called “sanctuary city.” Predictably, liberal leaders wring their hands, offer empty words, and go right back to protecting the criminals over the citizens they are supposed to serve.
What happened to Gorman is just like what happened to Laken Riley. How many young Americans have to die before Democrats will admit their radical immigration agenda is killing people? The liberal networks—CBS, NBC, and ABC—couldn’t be bothered to cover Gorman’s death for more than a minute or two, as if her life was just another tragic footnote in their crusade to protect the Biden regime and preserve their narrative. These are the same networks that will spend days pushing hoaxes, but when a beautiful young woman is shot by an illegal alien, they want to sweep it under the rug.
Americans aren’t stupid. We see through the games. The real reason the Left ignores stories like Gorman’s is because they know these tragedies destroy their entire agenda. Democrats have tied themselves to the cause of illegal immigration. They actively encourage sanctuary cities, fight every effort to secure our border, and go out of their way to protect those who come here illegally—even when it means American families pay the price in blood. Meanwhile, conservative voices calling for law and order are labeled “racist” or “xenophobic.” It’s not hate—it’s common sense.
It’s about time someone in Washington called out this disgusting double standard. Today, that someone was Karoline Leavitt. She looked the networks right in the eye and demanded to know why an American life is worth less than a few seconds of TV coverage. But don’t expect any soul-searching from the mainstream media. They’re too busy covering for their pals in power—because, for them, an open border isn’t a security threat, it’s a political strategy. With every illegal alien released onto our streets, Democrats think they are stacking the deck for themselves at the expense of ordinary Americans.
What’s more offensive—criminal aliens roaming free or the smirking news anchors who pretend it’s no big deal? The heartbreaking answer is, under Biden and the Democrats, you don’t get to choose. The liberal war on law and order has taken too many lives already. When will America finally say “enough”?
