Congress Jets Off on Vacation While Border Crisis Explodes Under Their Watch

While President Trump demands action, the usual gang in Congress is off enjoying their lavish, taxpayer-funded vacations. With the Department of Homeland Security hanging in the balance, they’ve decided that lounging on a beach matters more than keeping America safe. Only in the twisted world of DC do our so-called “leaders” see border security as optional.

The threat to our national security is real. Every single day, bad actors try to pour over our border. Now is the time when we need strong funding for the men and women who protect us—not more empty promises from politicians who’d rather leave town than do their jobs. Yet, that’s exactly what the radical left and their globalist pals want: open borders, weak enforcement, and a hollowed-out DHS.

While hardworking American families struggle just to make ends meet, Congress chooses paid recess over showing up to secure the nation. Democrats would rather let law enforcement twist in the wind than admit Trump is right. Instead of putting America first, they put their own comfort and their donors’ interests above public safety. It’s shameful, but unfortunately, it’s nothing new.

The hypocrisy is beyond belief. When it’s time to push their woke agenda or hand out billions in foreign aid, they spring into action. But when the border’s in crisis and our country needs protecting, they head for the exits. Where’s the urgency? Where’s the outrage about real threats to our security? Apparently, it doesn’t exist unless there’s political points to score or checks to cash.

President Trump isn’t waiting around. He’s calling their bluff, demanding Congress get back to work and fund the DHS immediately. It’s about time someone held these politicians accountable for their dangerous games. How many more warnings do we need before liberal incompetence puts American lives on the line—again?
