San Francisco is at it again. The District Attorney paraded out another so-called “public servant,” this time the former human rights boss Sheryl Davis, for allegedly milking the very taxpayer programs she was supposed to protect. It’s become a sick joke in Democrat-run cities: Take money meant for the needy, then play the victim when the scheme collapses. If this isn’t proof of the left’s empty promises and broken morals, what is?
Liberals always claim they want to help the disadvantaged. What they really want? Control. Power. Cash. Over and over, progressive officials have used their positions to gorge themselves while hiding behind woke slogans. Davis’s arrest fits right into this tired script. Cry racism, blame the system, pretend to be the victim. It’s become a reflex for these “do-gooder” elites every time they’re caught with their hands in the cookie jar.
What’s even worse is that San Francisco’s leadership lets this happen—again and again. The city is drowning in crime, filth, and lawlessness, but their big idea for fixing things is… more bureaucracy. More taxes. More “equity” programs. The result? Richer officials, poorer neighborhoods, and a government that shrugs whenever real corruption is exposed. They talk about justice and transparency, but they hide the rot deep inside City Hall.
While hard-working Americans struggle to make ends meet, these leftist figureheads shuffle money around and chase headlines instead of results. And when exposed, they never accept blame. Instead, they twist every legitimate investigation into some supposed attack on social justice. The facts don’t matter to them; only the politics do.
At what point do ordinary voters wake up and realize this is the liberal endgame? A handful of woke insiders getting rich while the city falls apart and real victims get ignored. San Francisco has become the perfect lesson in why progressive promises should always come with a warning label. Why trust a system built on empty words and greed? The circus never ends, and the taxpayer is always left holding the bill.
