Who can argue with that? Sure, the armchair critics will fuss about Ukraine’s exclusion from discussions. But can anyone honestly believe the status quo—a dragging, costly conflict—is better? It’s high time somebody prioritized results over endless debate.
At the end of the day, isn’t peace worth a fresh approach? The critics will keep whining about protocol and process. What truly matters is an end to violence and a return to stability in Europe. As headlines rage on and talking heads fulminate, let’s not forget the real goal. After years of liberal inertia, maybe—just maybe—this shake-up is exactly what’s needed.
