In another example of the mainstream media’s arrogance, the Associated Press is brazenly challenging the Trump administration in court. This time, it’s about who gets to ask questions in the Oval Office. The AP thinks it can stroll into the White House waving its press badge to dictate the narrative. This entitled attitude screams of liberal media privilege—they want a free pass to spread their anti-American views right where our country’s leaders make decisions.
Let’s be clear: a president has every right to decide who he addresses in his own office. If a media outlet consistently pushes false narratives and twists facts to manipulate the public, why should they be handed the microphone? The media needs to remember that access isn’t a given; it’s earned. It’s time someone held them accountable for their blatant bias and disrespect.
Ironically, the same liberals who cry about “freedom of the press” are often the first to clamp down on conservative voices. They shout about censorship, but only when it benefits them. When conservative figures are banned or blacklisted, these warrior-activists are suspiciously silent. It’s not about press freedom for them; it’s about dominating the conversation with their agenda.
In this legal showdown, the heart of the matter is trust. The Trump administration knows the Oval Office is a sacred place where real American values should be defended—not assaulted by an ungrateful media. If the media wants access, perhaps they should start by respecting the office and the people who elected its occupant.
This isn’t just about who’s allowed in the room. It’s about fighting back against a media class that has forgotten its place. They are supposed to report the news, not create it. Ask yourself: do we want our government run by those who were elected, or by a press corps that thinks it’s taken over this country’s direction?
