President Trump’s plan to cut off temporary protections for Somali immigrants in Minnesota has liberals squirming. Of course, the left can’t handle any policy that puts America First. For too long, there’s been a game of who’s the fairest of them all, with globalists bending over backwards to prioritize foreign needs above our own citizens’ interests. Well, guess what? Americans are tired of finishing last!
Minnesota’s Somali community, mostly settled in Minneapolis, cloaks itself in fear, worrying about these changes. But isn’t it time we focused these resources on Americans struggling in our inner cities and rural areas? Liberals claim to champion the needy, yet they’d rather put American tax dollars into protecting folks who aren’t even citizens. How many homeless veterans could we house instead?
The main ticket items here are jobs and security. Every year, resources are siphoned off to cater to people who have temporary shields. But can we afford this generosity when crime rates rise and hardworking Americans feel left out in the cold? There’s an important question: should folks temporarily allowed to stay in this country take priority over American workers and families?
Leftists will scream that it’s illegal or heartless, but this isn’t about being cold-hearted. It’s about a government that finally listens to its people. Trump has the guts to question the so-called legal ties that bind us to sending out resources with no return on investment. Liberals love to boggle our minds with legalese. Yet, where were their questions when they ignored border laws in the past?
Clearly, the establishment cares more about appeasing international folks than its own citizens. So the real question is, why should American loyalty benefit those who aren’t loyal to America?
