The left has always been quick to jump on any opportunity to undermine our leaders who stand boldly for America’s interests. Now, they’re up in arms because Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth allegedly put U.S. personnel at risk with his use of a messaging app. The so-called watchdogs claim Hegseth endangered our troops by using Signal to discuss military operations. Let’s pause for a moment and consider what’s really at stake here.
Liberals are making a mountain out of a molehill. The real issue should be how we deal with threats around the world. Hegseth, a patriotic leader, took decisive action in Yemen against the Houthi militants, who pose a grave threat to stability in the region. Instead of applauding his strong leadership, the media focuses on the method of communication. Newsflash: wars are not won with red tape.
The hypocrisy is glaring. Would the mainstream media be equally critical if it were their liberal darlings using tech to communicate sensitive information? Doubtful. The double standards are obvious and serve only to weaken our resolve. Hegseth’s actions were in defense of American lives and interests, yet he’s scrutinized like a criminal. Meanwhile, liberals consistently ignore their own missteps and failures.
This is yet another example of how globalist agendas are eager to see America diminish on the world stage. Hegseth’s actions were a commitment to protecting America first, something that is increasingly rare in our current political climate. The critics, instead of focusing on real global threats, pick apart every decision that puts America’s interests first.
In a world where enemies are ever-present, why do we insist on digging into every minor decision from those prepared to take a stand for America? Hegseth’s courage shouldn’t be questioned but celebrated. In the end, the question remains: are we going to let our enemies win because of our obsession with technicalities?
