December 7, 1941, was a wake-up call America never wants to forget. Japan’s brutal attack on Pearl Harbor shredded our complacency and ignited the might of a true global superpower. America then poured steel, sweat, and sacrifice into defeating the Axis, turning an industrial giant into the ultimate war machine. Today, however, that giant lies asleep, weakened by decades of willful neglect, globalist betrayal, and foolish outsourcing that have gutted our industrial heartland.
Look at the cold, hard facts: in the mid-20th century, America produced the overwhelming majority of the world’s steel and pig iron. Now, China dominates production. Their massive shipyards churn out aircraft carriers and amphibious assault vessels on a scale that makes our own diminished fleet look like a relic. While China races to build a military rivaling ours, we sit on our hands with skeletal factories and crumbling infrastructure. It’s outrageous how politicians—more interested in lining their pockets and appeasing globalists—allowed American manufacturing to bleed out, trading our security for foreign investments and cheap labor.
China’s ambitions are crystal clear, and their preparations are anything but hypothetical. Their modernized People’s Liberation Army, booming coal-powered energy plants, and naval expansion are a direct challenge to our dominance. They aren’t just patrolling the South China Sea—they are gearing up to seize Taiwan, the last beacon of democracy in the region and the world’s microchip powerhouse. If Beijing’s grip tightens on those factories, they gain control not just of critical technology, but the ability to sabotage entire industries, including our military, from within. That’s not paranoia; it’s a strategic nightmare unfolding before our eyes.
China’s playbook extends far beyond the battlefield. They wield influence in our elections, smuggle fentanyl to poison our people, and bought land near sensitive military bases. The COVID-19 pandemic was not a random outbreak but a devastating hit launched against American society, timed suspiciously soon after trade tensions escalated under President Trump’s tough tariffs. This is the very definition of what the Chinese strategists call “unrestricted warfare,” using legal, economic, and political attacks to weaken the United States without firing a single shot.
What’s left for us if America stays asleep? Can we hope a new Pearl Harbor or a disastrous invasion will awaken this sleeping giant? Or will we simply watch as China’s iron fist tightens around Taiwan and our own national security? The truth is we cannot afford to ignore the threat any longer. We must rebuild our industries, cut off China’s infiltration, and stand firm as a united nation. If the next generation is to inherit a free America, we have to wake up—and fast.
